“Your work is going to fill a large part of your life, and the only way to be truly satisfied is to do what you believe is great work. And the only way to do great work is to love what you do.” — Steve Jobs
For 30 Days, starting July 20th, we ran 'All Things Indian Photo Contest' on Photofie, powered by Flipkart. Celebrating the spirit of India, we decided to reward participants with High-Quality DSLR's to showcase their creative photography skills.
Jasminder Oberai - "Some wonderful entries. Very difficult to select one. Some give a real feel of India directly and some connect with you indirectly. For me all are winners."

CHILDISH PLEASURE ON OCCASION OF DURGA PUJA
JUDGES CHOICE AWARD WINNER
Judge's Take - "The Bird's eye view in perfect combination with symmetry are the two USP's in the picture. Looking at the composition The picture gives room for so many interesting stories to tell that have depth, meaning and purpose. A perfect timing and eyes which can see the unity among people around. The ultimate example of how you see the world and make that moment a beautiful memory."

Beloved Childhood
Judge's Take - "The gaze, the eye contact, the innocence and overall feel steals it for me. When we talk about portraits, the soul is the essence of it and here one feels for the kids."
Judge's Take - "The composition and presence of 3 separate elements in the picture, yet perfectly synchronized and balanced with each other is what makes it stand out. It has a presence of human, vehicle and architecture at the same time as both stand alone and yet communicating parts of the picture. At the same time, the fact that it is a reflection in the water and that person seems to be on a different level than other two elements enhances the photo additionally."
