Enforcement Actions for violation of the policy


The enforcement actions, for violation of any of the rules mentioned in the previous article, as described in the document of DGCA, are:

1. Suspension/ cancellation of UIN/ UAOP in case of violation of regulatory provisions,

2. Penalties as per applicable IPCs (such as 287, 336, 337, 338, or any relevant section of IPC).

  • 287. Negligent conduct with respect to machinery.— If someone, intentionally or forgetfully, use machines in such a way to risk a human life or hurts them or cause an injury, OR if someone, intentionally or forgetfully, orders someone or take such orders to use a machinery in a way to cause danger to human life is entitled to be punished with imprisonment of six months or with a fine of one thousand rupees or both.
  • 336. Act endangering life or personal safety of others. —If someone, intentionally or forgetfully, risks a human life or put someone’s personal safety at risk is entitled to be punished with imprisonment of three months or with a fine of two hundred and fifty rupees or both.
  • 337. Causing hurt by act endangering life or personal safety of others. —If someone hurts any person, intentionally or forgetfully, or risk a human life or put someone’s personal safety at risk is entitled to be punished with imprisonment of six months or with a fine of five hundred rupees or both.
  • 338. Causing grievous hurt by act endangering life or personal safety of others. — If someone hurts any person grievously, intentionally or forgetfully, or risk a human life or put someone’s personal safety at risk is entitled to be punished with imprisonment of two years or with a fine of one thousand rupees or both.

3. Actions as per relevant Sections of the Aircraft Act 1934, or Aircraft Rules, or any statutory provisions
